Design and developement consultation

I can help work out the details of your design in a way that is feasible to develop, meets your specific goals and fits within your production budget.

Sewn Samples

I can provide a sewn sample based on your design sewn to your sizing specifics or an industry standard size chart. I can mail the sample or in some cases meet in person for delivery in Anchorage or the MatSu valley.

Pattern development

Pattern making is the core piece of what I offer. Great design is nothing without a perfect fitting pattern. My experience and expertise in pattern making means I can take your sketch and create a pattern with the appropriate ease, drape, look and feel.

Pattern Grading

Grading is the process of sizing the sewing pattern up and down in size, often, several times over while maintaining the same fit and design.

Digitized Patterns

I offer hard copy and digitized patterns that can be sent to a manufacture in the appropriate DXF format for digital cutting and marking or a simple PDF for printing at home or a large format print shop.

Virtual meetings

When I first started as a virtual pattern maker, I was surprised how simple and seamless the process was. I’m available for phone, video or text communications. Those local to Matsu or Anchorage can also schedule in-person meetings and fittings.
